Our Detroit client – Evans Distribution Systems has been awarded 33 new transportation lanes in the Detroit area. These are regional inbound lanes supporting parts delivery for Fiat-Chrysler Automotive.
On May 14 and 15, Evans hosted an open house recruiting event to select 33 new owner operators to join the Evans team. The event was intended to be informative, and gives owner operators the chance to talk with Evans recruiters about these specific lanes. Evans will also provide more information and discussion on driving for Evans, the benefits offered, and the advantages of driving for an 86 year old company.
All owner operators, fleet owners and truck drivers were encouraged to attend the event. Evans has opportunities for drivers throughout the state of Michigan as well as lanes in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and other states. “This is an exciting time for our transportation team, we’re looking forward to continued growth and geographic expansion” said Todd Shattuck, human resources transportation recruiter at Evans Distribution Systems.
